It's really annoying how they always release player programs that will make NO ONES starting lineup. Such a slap in the face by SDS. It's just a time sink because you want to get it completed for the 4th inning XP.

Player programs are not for "starting lineup" cards... they are for xp. If you don't want/need the xp then just skip it.
These offer a lot of very easy XP and I sometimes enjoy learning about players I don't not know much about and free collection cards.

Player programs are not for "starting lineup" cards... they are for xp. If you don't want/need the xp then just skip it.

The 20,000 XP will help me reach Eddie Murray so i'm all good with it, and who knows what Billy Williams stats will look like, he could make my bench maybe.

That's the entire point of them. Collection fillers and XP

Like do ppl not have multiple lineups? Do you seriously use the same “god” card in every mode cause that’s just head banging sad. I have a entire lineup just for conquest for cards like this

Some people only care about RS unfortunately. I'm a collector/ mostly events player myself so Almost every card has some sort of use to me. That being said expectations being to high is the main reason you see those sorts of comments. 99% of the community knows player programs aren't meant for RS lineups but the ones that don't know usually throw a fit about them being unusable

Man I couldn’t with Soriano anymore. He’s been benched for a awhile now unfortunate. Rather have Floyd, Bichette, Mantle, Baines, sht even Dunn. Just sad. Just got Kyle S so he and Williams will have a tryout for left lol
I just got him about a week ago. I currently replaced him with Damon but I been going back and forth, I do not have baines heard great things with him. I do not have Mantle or he would be in my lineup. I have not been able to hit with Bichette either, Damon swing is so good in this game. I even have Helton at first right now, Ortiz just is not it for me, I can hit with Helton.
Baines is awesome. Mantle is pretty cheap now if you got stubs laying around
Got Baines last night, only a few bats but i like his swing so he could be a new bench bat for me.
I just pick him up right now from work so I will try him out tonight.

Once I continue to get more depth in my collection, I’ll eventually do decades lineups. (The 90s one was my favorite last year, although it underperformed online). I had an all-switch team last year, too.
And I would rotate them each game during RS. Added a ton of variety for me. -

That Baines card is becoming my best hitter over Robinson and Jones. He is killing it. since I picked him up on before last weekend.
