How do you explain the guys with record of like 66-3 that absolutely murder anything and everything in the strike zone and don't even consider swinging at anything just off the plate?
It's called software bots. Sometimes just fabricated records generated by the fabricated game. But, don't take my word for it..just do some deep and open-minded assessments of your own personal experiences with RS.
It's so slanted towards creating prefabricated outcomes..you gotta know it aint only happening to you. And if it's happening the same way to everyone...no one is really 66-3. Ain't possible.
But, they sure can manufacture standings and records that would make the gullible believe this. I could, in 10 minutes literally, create a set of standings for this game..just made up..and have them on a web-site.
These guys just automate it and it's spun off in nano-seconds. But, rest assured, 66-3 is as fake as a set of boobs on a porn-star.
One thing to do..start matching those high win guys with their box-scores. They don't match for the most part. Inconsistency all over the place that don't fit the records. Mysterious games missing...just all sorts of glaring tell-tale signs.
Of all the great the developers do in this game..and the animation is freakishly spectacular..they don't do some of the really easy stuff well. Like accuracy in box-scores and what not. Something they should focus on for next year.
-
So they don't have the time to fix the game but they have time to come up with fake standings, box scores, usernames etc and keep constantly updating them? And people wonder why the words Conspiracy Theory get thrown around

It's automated chief. Probably been part of the code-set since they went online. Ain't no trouble..it's just generated data.

I just started reading this thread and it makes me feel like I made a wrong turn at Albuquerque and onto a conspiracy website.

someone is in denial. I do not think I could win a game vs someone who is at the top level, Not happening not possible. maybe 1 out maybe 100 tries, 1 out 500 or maybe 1 out 1,000. Still think I would lose all of them. I can pitch well enough to hold my own but my hitting is below the mendoza line.
In real life..Dustin Johnson would destroy you 100 out of 100 rounds of golf. Usain Bolt would leave you sucking his vapor trail 100 times out of 100 in a sprint. And on..and on.
This is software pal. It's not real life. They don't at all have to honor physics, ability, skill, or card stats. Code will do what it's programmed to do. So, if the developers wanted to code it so..you could win 100 out of 100 against these RS heroes (I can't recall the names because they are likely generated).
You really got to have perspective.

What is DDA?
It’s what we call rng. It’s the randomness of certain parts of the game that seemingly helps those that are not as good as their opponent to keep that person coming back because it gives them a sense that they are better than they actually are. It also doesn’t exist. RNG is not tilted in one direction or the other. It’s just that, random outcomes which could be influenced by what the player does prior to the outcome. A great player will beat a terrible player 100 out of 100 times. Those that are complaining about what this dill hole post is complaining about are not as good as they think they are and come to these forums to complain that they are being cheated by the game. And DDA is an EA sports outcome/decision table. It is also trademarked by EA and cannot be used by SDS. So this OP is misinformed and throwing around stupidity because he thinks he is better than you. He should be ignored and not responded to. Hope this explanation makes sense.
"A great player will beat a terrible player 100 out of 100 times" Absolute nonsense.
Player will beat player..regardless of skill level..when the AI decides it will happen. That simple.
You have zero credibility kid so do yourself a favor and stop embarrassing yourself. Just shut your trap and stop posting nonsense. When you came in this forum spouting DDA you lost all credibility. DDA is an EA sports logic table which makes decisions based on input. It is also trademarked. So take you butthurt complaints somewhere else!!!
You are probably young and gullible yourself. You may have some success at this game and really want to validate yourself by using the game as proof. OR, some other agenda I'm not going to get into.
But, the reason I think you're relatively young (or not the sharpest tool in the shed) is you present your arguments based on half-azzed information.
First, DDA is a generic term. It's not owned, copyrighted, patented, trademarked..or anyone's intellectual property. It's merely a term used in the software gaming industry referring to code specific to "equalizing" a player's experience.
EA does have a "patent"..much different than "trademark" that you mentioned..on THEIR version of DDA. My understanding is, they do sell it to other companies. I've never suggested SDS bought or utilize it. They have their own DDA code which probably doesn't line up with EA's.
Ever think the nonsense might be on your end? I know...deeeep, right?
I wouldn't waste my time arguing with these people. Anyone with half a brain knows it is in every sports game made. It is why in Madden when you are up 2 td's going for 3rd you magically fumble. When you are up by 10 in NBA and suddenly can't make a shot. These people won't believe it until it comes out which eventually it will. I still enjoy the game most of the time but I know how this stuff works. I don't get mad at losses.
Yeah, but I get tired of seeing the same fan-boyz/SDS-affiliates jumping on people that report problems. They hate people posting truth that detracts from the fake experience they try to fabricate in this game.
When they really go predatory is when someone complains about a game they lost.
Then they just jump on with both feet and try to deflect the real problem in the game someone is irritated about by telling them they suck. It's the exact definition of bullying.
And these guys are so easy to slice and dice because all they got in their arsenal is "get gud", "conspiracy theory", or "quit being negative..you suck".
I don't like bullies.

I usually get told I suck about every other week. Still doesn't detract from the fact there are connection issues with this game. Opponent and/or server. I don't pay any attention to it. Just want the issue fixed but hasn't been for 5 years now. I also still think devs post on here, they just don't do it with their SDS Dev account.

First off I know how programming works, a i did not know it was not real life and that it is a video game, duh. Anyway, You still have to have some skill no matter what the program is programed to do in a game. The other player still has to make mistakes and then those mistake have to turn into a positive outcome. Only time I think I have been screwed over in a game this year has to do with bad animation and lag. input and output are based on variables of the game situation and what both players do. if I throw a ball in the dirt that bounces there is no way the program will allow the other player to hit a HR because even in programming that is not logical. You do know logic is part of programming right. Some things in this game do not work properly and calls by umpire are not 100 percent accurate especially the tag animations. Unless things are not reported these things will not be fix. To say you got screwed over by the games programming is really not the case. I am sure you can find somewhere in those games you made mistake as little as swinging at pitches out of the zone, miss placing your pitch. so on and so forth. Did the program really screw you. People who give up HR on bad timing by opponent that does happen in real baseball. Opposite HR happen as well. bloop hits that is a thing in baseball. Learning how to pitch to certain hitters in this game and finding opponents weakness at the plate is key. Learning your opponents tendency and patterns how they pitch goes a long way in this game.

If I was a developer (and maybe I was)..I also would not like people finding fault with my creation and sharing it in a forum. Whether accurate or not.
But, those that have advanced enough in any career where you're laying your product out there for the masses have go to develop thick-skin and understand MOST folks just want your product they paid for to be better. I don't care if it's actors, singers, directors, writers, or software developers. It's typically not personal when you get negative critiques.
And those creators with strong character and some sense of self-awareness will take it as such and do their very best to meet the demands of their customers.
It's the ones lacking in character that seem to lash out at the critics. Whether said customers be completely right, completely wrong, or somewhat on to something.

I've never gotten past division series and never even finished with an above .500 record so I wish they'd throw some of that DDA my way. I always assumed the poor record was due to plate discipline so comically bad that even with contact swing I strike out all the time and hit below .200, but by the logic of posts like this I'm secretly the most elite player in the game and SDS just can't handle all my awesomeness so they work overtime to keep me down. Makes sense lol

Ha..yeah I don't know how they appropriate the good/bad luck. I hope parity finds you though my friend. Always finish games..I do believe there are penalties imposed when you start jumping out of RS matches. Not just the instant loss..AI-karma will follow you.
Just got to be right with the fact if you see the DDA kick in to your disadvantage..and it's painfully obvious..don't quit and sometimes the AI will float back into your court. The other side is, if you quit after witnessing more nonsense than you can stomach..your record will suffer.
But, records are meaningless. They are just numbers. The grossly inflated ones mostly fake I BELIEVE (no one else has to).
Take solace though, In this year's version you're still going to get all the 99 Diamonds dropping in your plate. So, lose or win RS..quit or hang around until the bitter end...you'll still get those big Diamonds. You and everyone else. the 4-40 players as well as the 40-4 players.

I still don’t get the confusion. Rally Monkey is quite literally labeled as DDA.
“Performs BETTER when LOSING”
It’s very much black and white, at least when I read it. Maybe somebody can explain what “perform better when losing” means if it doesn’t mean the guy losing starts to perform better lmfao.

Nothing against the person posting and it is frustrating to lose when you feel you played good enough to win. I just thought to be fair though in baseball which IMO the best sport of all the major sports it is a game that favors the pitcher and as everyone knows even the best hitters guys who are HOF caliber in real life arent successful 40% of the time while and the top hitters on the Show are at best .500 overall hitters meaning the best the game of baseball has to offer fails at hitting at least half the time combining The Show and real life. I read many times from a poster that they lost to a team that had × amount of strike outs. I have to assume the game was close in most cases and most likely not a 11 to 10 shoot out so I think what is missed is there people who are very disciplined in there hitting approach taking balls obviously and even good about llaying off pitchers pitches and that is a great approach but in this game if you match to hitters who are admittedly not goons who will mash anything on the screen the guy who may be flailing at many pitches does guess right and when he does hit from a attacking aggressive position leading to many of his or her hits to be XBH it is a risk reward approach and probably a good 1 if your not confident you are going to string hits together and advance runners. So the other player who feels hes doing things the right way by being disciplined at the plate trying to be smart and work counts what he is not doing is taking the amount of swing the more aggressive player is and when the more aggressive player figures something out with a pitch sequence and guesses right a few times runs are on the board while the more disciplined player electing to walk and be more reactionary to what is thrown if he doesn't have the hits and walks strung together often will not see runs. In real ball teams that have a couple good innings or teams that may strike out a lot are seeing the ball and getting what there looking for put up runs at a high clip. There is of course a flipside when the high strike out power teams aren't able to guess correctly or are not seeing the ball they do extremely poorly. Just a thought I've read many post similar and think sounds like 2 guys pitched pretty good and 1 finally got on a few balls it doesn't matter when your opponent scores if you dont out score them
Thanks for the sensible reply. Little light in the paragraph structure, but the content, obviously, was from the heart.
Yeah, I dunno how they got it coded. So many random outcomes. Sometimes you'll be the guy that gets sketchy unhittable pitches..sometimes you'll be the guy that thumps the ball, but always at'em balls.
Sometimes you'll be the guy that gets that homerun that wins that 1-0 extra-inning fiasco of a game (happened to me many times) and you just sit there thinking - my opponent is probably really pizzed right now because I didn't even intend to swing at that ball..checked up and smashed it 440 with 115 exit velocity. Those are the moments you know how the game really works.
Glad you didn't take that wrong, I was just thinking how it really is a funny sport in real life and the show good is not always rewarded also what makes the game so interesting. I coach my sons team and they just finished the season up with a trip to Florida and the whole tournament entire season actually we talked a lot about staying in the middle never to high or low because the game just doesn't make sense sometimes. Hopefully they quit with all the rule changes and leave the game alone. It's not for everyone and that's ok nothing is. No game teaches handling adversity better

Not sure but if it’s the long, and I mean 7 long fly outs to the very deepest part of the park I had in a game against a [censored] team. Then yeah I believe it. I just laughed it off. After the first 2 I knew everything was staying in the park. Nothing I could do. Try blowing on the TV. Didn’t work.
