As a military member I thank you. Also it will be a good day for me on the game with one more event win for 25 total.

That is just politics for you. Two extremes. Never a middle ground. It really doesn’t change much in the grand scheme of things though. If you completely ignore politics, you probably wouldn’t even notice a direct effect on your life.

Well, that’s not completely true. The problem is a 2 party system; there’s no room for compromise.
Actually, no it's not just because it's a two party system... even if two sides see completely different views there is always a way to compromise, the leaders are just too arrogant to give a little on each of their positions to make actual change.
I completely agree with the earlier statement that if you stay away from politics enough to really wont see a huge change in your day to day life unless your job is directly effected by what government does. I followed the news everyday from 2008-2018 faithfully and watched several different channels and websites. I realized after I stopped in 2018, my life was much simpler and now I refuse to watch the news because all it does is put me in a negative mood and I don't need that. I just do me and my family and friends.

Yes by all means stay ignorant people. And just because my life or urs is better doesn't mean we should not care about how others are treated or what situation they may be struggling with.
