Stuck on legend?

I don't really know how to describe my game experience. I went to batting practice and did it on legend to get ready for events. Since then (including in the event) it has been stuck on legend and I can't get it to go back. I deleted my saves. I restarted. I deleted the game and reinstalled. I have video of my skill level on beginner -- BEGINNER -- and 100% 0.03s pitches are yellow and incoming pitches are blazing fast. Idk how to reset these but I hope someone can help

Again, how I got here: everything normal, started events, did batting and pitching practice on legend, changed settings to veteran, went to events, everything was legend and has been since even with a reinstall
