Looking for some hidden gems if that’s even possible on here lol. Any advice on some maybe not so well know pitchers? Tired of using the same guys that everyone else uses. Greatly appreciate any mature posts on the question. And even the non mature ones
Side question. What pitchers have the very best slider on the game? Love a good slider!
Love the game love the site most of the time. I’m older so I know when to overlook the internet idiot. And there are more here than most. I don’t let that bother me though. I’m a 1st year player. Working hard to get better. Taking my share of whoopings and even delivering a few. Knock on wood…my connections for the most part have been excellent. I’ve had only 2 freezes the entire time I’ve played and I quit and move on. Not about to leave and/or sit there and just look at the Screen. Foolishness at the highest level. Anyways, enough rambling and I apologize for that. Hope to get some good recommendations.! Good luck all with the game and pack luck!

I really like using Roy Oswalt. Maddux, and topps now Kluber have stuff that move a ton. 42 Series Berrios has a nasty Slurve too.

I second the berrios if you are looking for a slide piece. It’s absolutely disgusting with a ton of movement.

Same on Berrios also if your looking for a hidden gem that Bill Mazoroski card rakes for me. Still use him over Semien.

Maybe not 'hidden,' but the Thome from the TA is just ludicrous! Oppo bombs, clutch oppo doubles to the point that when I get Ortiz, he may be on the bench!
Another is TN Cronenworth. 88 Doolittle is another. He was the first TA2 card I ran to get! TN Dejong & Escobar as well. Oddly, I don't see a lot of if any TN cards still in people's lineups.
P.O.M. program Wheeler is nasty, if you know how to use his pitches. I was using his Slider break wrong and got smacked around a bit first start, but figured him out. He also hits well. I went 0-5 with him yesterday, but everything was hit hard. -
I thought you needed the WS banner or icon to get the goat icon? How did you get yours?

I appreciate you guys taking time out to post. I love hearing everyone’s thoughts and takes on players! @RaieNez_PSN I have that DK card. Might slide him in for a try. @TheGoaler_PSN yeah man that Cronenworth card is nice! I used wheeler yesterday and went 2-1 with him one was a quit. His loss was because I couldn’t hit. Swinging at everything kind of game. He does have some crisp contact as well. @yankblan_PSN I don’t have a World Series win so I guess not. You need 2 or 3 items though. Not exactly sure. I will have to look. Thanks again all!

I’m grinding to 40 wins in ranked so I can get Vida though.

Theres an entire GOAT collection that gives you rewards like the ICON and banner. These include:
- Getting Chipper from LS Collection
- Getting that Icon from finishing every daily moment in a month (the watch one)
- Going 12-0 in BR
- Getting to WS in RS
- Unlocking Milestone Mo
- Unlocking Polo Grounds via stadium collection (collect all the other diamond fields....really not worth the cost unless you really like Polo or got nothing else to save for)

He literally just threw my first perfect game for me online. Ever. 20 strike outs.
(Ok I threw a combined relief one 2 weeks ago but this the proper way!)

He used to be the Cabrera of the 1st inning program, but he quickly went downhill.

Just like any pitcher. When everyone and their mom is using them every game, they get easier to hit.

I’ve been using Maddux and pitched a complete game shutout with him in his debut. Haven’t played anyone that’s used him. Forces a lot of weak contact.

I have a 0.00 era with 95 bob gibson. Small sample size, I’ve only used him in the stances event but will try him out in Ranked Seasons.
