Online Lag Is Abysmal

First year X box player. Is the online play supposed to be this laggy/choppy?
Offline the game plays fine. I enjoy it. I’d like to get online as that’s kind of the point of building a squad. Almost every online game is choppy as F.

My Buddy feels the same way. His first year also, but he loves the marketplace.

The game is a disaster this year.
Timing windows are awful, pitch speeds are all over the [censored] place, contact swing online is a friggin joke. I had someone smash 2 homeruns with the center pci not even touching the ball. Cap players everyone glitched the xp and are total monsters holding a bat.
Customer service doesn't respond to tickets. This is my last year with this game. I invested so much time and money into it over the years and it's a [censored] disaster. I'm done giving SDS my money
