Created Stadiums - Were they Worth it After All?

Being from Detroit, I'd trade all of the Created Stadiums functionality if SDS would just get Tiger Stadium added as a classic. Still can remember the fun of being in the bleachers for 1984 WS Game 4...

It was one of the biggest features requested year in and year out so probably not a waste. It's not like the Stadium modelers and artists would have been shifted to beefing up Franchise mode or tweaking the hitting and pitching systems.

I just want to be able to relocate the Rays to Montreal, if create a stadium is the first step towards them implementing relocation for franchise than I am all for it.

I'm all in on the Stadium Creator. It's really the only reason I even got a PS5 and I absolutely love it.
Since it's the first year that the stadium creator has been around, it has a host of problems and shortcomings. Here are my problems with it:
- Can't play games at night or change weather
- You can't play with your DD team unless you use prefab walls
- You can't change how close the seats are along baselines
- You can't have a CF wall distance further than 420 feet, which impacts the accuracy of recreated classics like Tiger Stadium, which had a furthest distance of 430 feet. Yet Old Miami's wall is 430...
- Bullpens are on the field
- I want to add advertisements on the walls to make them less boring.
- I want to put my team's logo behind home plate, on the pitcher's mound, and mowed into the OF grass.
There are undoubtedly more that I forgot about.

It took all of 1 hour for the 2k community to ruin custom t shirts so I’m sure this community would ruin custom ads in about 30 minutes
Edit: though I would love to be able to put up an ad for ants in my eyes johnsons appliance store, real fake doors warehouse and al harringtons wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man emporium and warehouse in weekapaug.

Custom Stadiums clearly has a LOT of room to improve but it was a good start.
I have barely touched them as they hold little value for offline DD players since they can't be used in modes like Conquest (you are never the home team anyway) and you don't choose a stadium in Moments/Showdown.
My biggest complaints were
- Lack of modes for offline DD players to use them.
- No night games
- Convoluted use. Why can't I use one of the new stadiums provided by SDS without uploading it first? How many copies of the same default field do you want in the vault?

It's okay. Yeah, I understand the pitfalls with custom things. That's why I specified and said that they could use ones already in-game.

I dont have any problem with cows or mountains. I've played at diamonds with them beyond the fences. Aliens and UFOs are a different story.

I for one love CAS. I spent many hours early this year creating 7 or 8 stadiums that I play in frequently. With that said, I’m an offline player and don’t have issues with game play that online players complain about. Therefore, I appreciate where they spent the time and I hope it gets an upgrade next year.
