Why not power swing?

I fully understand why contact swinging is so popular. But I swapped to straight power swings and honestly think it's the better option. It's nice to knock away low swings with contact but it seems like power hits are more consistent on late swings for staying in play.

Perhaps you're right, but I've never experienced the power swing being any different than the normal swing. Maybe it's a little more unforgiving, but I've never noticed it amping up the exit velocity.
Contact does seem to have it's own personality..at times.

It's cool if you are sitting on a location . Situational is the way to go when I bat. I never power swing and hit a ton of HRS anyway with the normal swing. I go contact with 2 strikes usually or late in the game and trying to get a runner in from 3rd with less than 2 outs especially against a tough pitcher. Power swing makes your pci smaller btw. I never use power swing but to each their own bro.

I use power swing in BR and RS on all star. Not worth it in the higher levels

Power swing shrinks your PCI by a pretty significant amount. I will occasionally do it on like a 2-0, 3-1 count and just sit in one location but its not really viable on HOF+ especially if you are tracking pitches in and not sitting on something.
