So what happens if we miss the daily

Gotta go to sleep now, my company has employees that work at night, strange I know. Couldn't login to complete the daily mission. I'm new so I'm curious how do they usually handle this?

Likely they will add additional double point moments opposed to the 3 they were suppose to have to reach 35 points

They just are stingy with the points. You clear every day and get exactly 35.
It should be 40 or 45 points that clearing every day gets, yeah you could finish it early, so what? But more importantly if someone missed a day or just got fed up with RNG preventing them from clearing a daily it would be ok.
40 points would not be a participation award it would just be sensible.

The whole point of the icon is to reward doing a moment EVERY day of the month, which is why it qualifies for GOAT status.
GOAT qualifications are for COMPLETING something (LS collection, BR, World Series, Stadium Collection, Mariano, etc.)

I think what OP meant was that he tried to get yesterday’s done at night, but couldn’t due to the servers; and if SDS will take that into consideration for the rest of the program…..

Not entirely sure....this is the first year they have done a daily moments thing with rewards. Normally the daily log in was the only "daily" thing to do along with the "daily" program missions (But those persist until skipped or completed).
If there was a major server issue that prevented a lot of people from logging in, theres a chance they may offer additional daily points to make up for it at a future date. Otherwise its kind of just missed and a "sorry for the inconvenience" thing.
