Has anyone else noticed for about a week now that the timing window seems off. I can’t good good timing and if I do it’s on the later side of good. I’ll get a occasional perfect perfect. Don’t even get me started about challenged failed or freeze offs

Timing window has been the best it’s ever been for me. I also seem to get a lot more home games, I’m thinking they tinkered with benefits for wired connections with good ping rates. Online almost feels like offline now which is perfect

Timing windows for me have been the most frustrating part of the game over the past week and half. I’ll be all over 99-102 and then suddenly I can’t even react to it without being very late. Same thing vs a guy that throws 96-98 can have it timed out and then all of a sudden a few of them will blow by me like it was 100+. I’m wired with good internet. I thought I was going crazy but they definitely feel inconsistent from one pitch to the next.

Well we must be playing the wrong game because I have lan connection with good internet they definitely have changed it because I’m losing to ppl I shouldn’t be cause I can’t hit

I'm all over... some days, things are pretty smooth, other days not so much.

I'm all over... some days, things are pretty smooth, other days not so much.
Same. Had a game last night vs an opponent who was 20 games above 500 where I had 9 runs and 12 hits through 4 innings. I just seemed to be on top of everything.
Really wish I could make sense of my inconsistencies to understand if it's the game, connections, or me.

Nothing to do with the game. Your reflexes are not the same everyday. Sometimes you will adjust quicker than other days. Could be your sleep pattern diet whatever. The game doesn't just randomly change at will.

I lost a game where I had 9 hits and my opponent 2… final score was 2-1…
I choked but timing windows were a bit weird. I struck out a lot

for me... its super inconsistent. I can play one game and not be able to catch up to a 96mph fastball unless I guess. Next game it will take me 2 innings to stop swinging early at a 99mph fastball... its just wildly inconsistent and always has been. theres nothing wrong with my internet either... the show is the ONLY thing i have issues with.

I agree with you about the timing window being all jack up. The game is so dam inconsistent not just game to game but to inning to inning too.

Just a quick question, because I’ll never get there, you only get a World Series badge if you do the 900 correct? You don’t get the badge for the 40 wins am I right?

I would agree partially with this. I do check my "ping" before loading up a game. When it's high, I guarantee the online game experience is sub-par.

like really. It’s called they messed something up wen trying to fix the game like they do every yearDude you sound like an idiot. Just being blunt. If you can’t understand that you have different reaction times based on sleep, stimulants, etc., then yeah just keep blaming the game.

Our reaction times based on sleep and stimulants and all that are definitely a factor. That being said, sometimes a 95mph FB is harder to hit than a 98mph FB. Certainly the pitch mix you're seeing is a factor and then the confidence a pitcher has seems to be a huge factor if the opponent is using Pin Point Pitching. Even last year I felt that there may be too many factors going into the algorithms for hitting. Who knows?
I think what bugs me more is how bad it feels being "Good" timing, with decent PCI on the ball (not center cut but majority on the ball), while my opponent will have "late" or "early" timing, with decent PCI, and get base hits. And then, just to pile on, if you watch a streamer, they will get terrible PCI or be under a ball and blast it out for 400ft home runs. But I will pop out to SS if I am under the ball at all, even if the top of my PCI has the ball in it.
Love base, and I won't stop playing this game, but I will probably quit out of games as the year goes. End of Rant.

I just beat the cpu on rookie 7-6 in a 3 inning game. So obviously I hit pretty well. I could give you some pointers if you would like.
