19 started out horrible but didn’t end horrible to me, still playing 19 franchise now ... I still haven’t picked up 20... What’s so bad about it ?

They decided that they had fixed hitting including the timing window. Then decided they would go ahead and break it instead of fixing the actual problem which was pitching. Thus now you square up the PCI and the majority of the time one is looking at good timing/ ok contact and the ball is a simple fly out. Some senior dev team member named Brian, in another forum, wrote a book explaining how this was just an outstanding decision because it more resembles real baseball. Though apparently what the dev team failed to realize is what was needed to be fixed was pitching. Thus, bottom line, for the majority of us, SDS once again broke their own game a week in due to poor decision making. Though if you love '19 then '20 might be for you. They play very similar at this point.

Online portion isnt really baseball. Its cheeseball with a dash of rng. The rng is there for a reason and it isn't going away.

Right, but the goal is to make it as realistic as possible, that's the goal of any simulation style game... And the Show is definitely a simulation of baseball, so we should all want it to play as realistic as possible....

Except they are advertising the game as a baseball simulation, it's not an arcade game. players in real life can make great contact on a pitch and lineout or flyout, you don't see them complain that they should get rewarded for making great contact that goes right to a guy.

Exactly. Couldn’t stand how arcady it was before the patch. What was so wrong with the way 19 played. I thought it was pretty realistic. When this game came out it was a homerfest. Like I’m painting corners that are getting jacked. Dumb

It’s just a place to complain bud. The guys that are happy with the patch are too busy playing. Only reason I’m on here is cause I noticed the game got way better all of a sudden and wanted to see if they patched it.

It’s just a place to complain bud. The guys that are happy with the patch are too busy playing. Only reason I’m on here is cause I noticed the game got way better all of a sudden and wanted to see if they patched it.
I'm just flabbergasted on how anyone could feel that the game got alot better. I mean, I'm happy that you're enjoying it, but I just cant see how....
