Can we fix the “Pause Forfeit” cheating SCAM!?

What the heck is going on here? Why can’t this blatant cheating opportunity be taken away from these low life’s?

It's a glitch in the game that needs fixing. No one is cheating to make this happen. Some guys will let the stupid timer run down to 1 second and send a friendly request to throw you off. If your on a PS, always pound square in the final 5 seconds. That declines friendly requests and accepts forfeit if it runs down like it should.

Sorry it's circle that rejects the friendly. If nothing happens when you hit square...it's a friendly request.

Just hold the O button when your opponent hit pause

You could just read the notification that pops up….

It is the timer running out, you hit square to forfeit their game and the timer just restarts. I know they are cheating cause the 3:30 timer on my pause (I paused trying to see if he’d unpause) after 45 mins of this and my timer went down 4 seconds. It’s a waiting exploit to get me to close the game.

You may been experiencing what I experienced the other day.
Normally, when someone's timer runs out; you can accept a Forfeit.
But what I think you're talking about, and what I experienced, was that everytime you hit the button to accept the forfeit, the timer restarts. And if you don't hit anything, the timer stays at zero. Right?
If this is what you mean; that is different than them trying to sneak in a FQ when the timer runs out.
What you're possibly experiencing does need patched.

If you think your opponent is running down their time on purpose just to troll or exploit something, you can still pause his time by shutting your controller off. So when they go to the quick menu for 3 minutes after bunt dancing all game just turn your controller off. Then they are stuck in their own troll.

LOL...did you really just call it a scam?
Pro tip: when you get offered a friendly quit while winning don't do nothing. Let it sit there for 2.5 minutes and then deny and instantly forfeit their game.
