Wow, ranked seasons is playing really awful right now

I loved how the game played for the first month or so, but now that most players have figured out the game, the last couple of weeks have been incredibly frustrating. Every pitcher I face throws 102mph, hitting is almost impossible and every game seems to be 2-1 with 14ks for each pitcher. If someone manages to get a hit (that’s not a home run), no matter who it is, he will steal, as the catcher hesitates throwing to second every time. The decision is usually decided on who gets lucky last, whether that be an error, an RNG hanger, whatever. Reading over the forum, I see a number of players are having the same frustrations. It’s not like I’m not succeeding right now (struggled today, but I’ve been hovering around the high 700s-low 800s), the game just isn’t much fun at all. Being Being that it’s June, Is it too late in the game cycle to hope for some tuning, or is this what the game is going be?

I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and say they are working on a substantial patch. This can't be what the game play is gonna be.

There’s only like 3 viable pitches and locations lol. Hitting is random af. The game is bad. Win or lose I always come away like wtf.

Just speaking from my experience but I normally struggle to put up runs once I reach legend...last 2 RS games I’ve put up 12 runs in 15 innings
so I don’t think it’s playing bad or anything has changed if I’m getting rewarded on that difficulty, you may just be having a tough stretch which happens to us all
But to your point, I do agree that HOF is more difficult this year especially with this high velo sinkers. I can see how many feel the game isn’t fun as it stands. But as with any game, just takes time to adjust and with time you’ll start squaring them better.

Way better than last year then?
I thought this game was playing really well, and i was having a ton of fun until TA2 dropped. All those 102mph sinker pitchers threw the game way out of balance. I’m winning at roughly the same rate as I was before then, but the game has become boring and frustrating.

Idk I hope they can fix it without messing up other stuff in the process. It just seems like there is so much stuff that needs to be fixed/changed that they don't know where to start.

I’m not playing again until the season resets and I’m back in all star. Fuk HOF and facing Cabrera every single game!

I may not be in the majority but I love how the game has played this year. Hitting on legend is very challenging but I’ve gotten better and I’ve really enjoyed it. Every game has been exciting it feels like. Pitching feels great and even tho my BA isn’t as high as it was last year, it feels much more rewarding this year
