Hitter's count issues

I'm was on 1st base and got the signal to steal 2nd. Ronald Acuna was at the plate and the count was 1-2. When I stole 2nd, the count flashed to 0-2 instead of 2-2 (the pitch I ran on was called a ball). Is anyone else having this issue? Edit: He struck out. Smh

Yes. Been that way for years. It’s like the AB resets for the hitter at the plate when you steal a bag. Frustrating.
