We still using gold gloves as an argument? Rafael Palmeiro has 3 gold gloves, 1 of which came in a year where he played 128 games at DH. Back then it was a popularity contest

Jeter wont be 3rd inning. Odds are his card will be a 99 and SDS isn't releasing 99's in the 3rd inning.
If they had Jeter they would have put him on the cover.

As long as Jeter didn't have to move left or right, or back or forward, he was a heck of a defender!!
That pylon could turn a mean double play!!
And his jump throws were incredible!!! Nevermind the fact it took an extra 2 seconds to jump in the air to make that throw... -

Yankees fans think Jeter was God’s gift to baseball. I’m not gonna deny he was a great one. But what made him great was his high baseball IQ and intangibles. And those unfortunately, don’t translate in the game
