Prestige Honus: 119/125 Contact, 92/93 Power, Diamond defense and 98 Speed/99 Steal
Postseason Seager: 118/120 Contact, 113/122 Power, Gold Defense, 47 Speed. But Lefty and glitchy.
99 Prestige Tatis: 122/93 Contact, 125/114 Power, Diamond Defense, 87 Speed
98 Mondesi: Glitchy as F
99 Prestige Ramirez (secondary): 98/125 Contact, 106/125 Power, Gold Defense, 64 Speed
[censored] I’ll throw in 99 Gavin Lux: 114/91 Contact, 108/98 Power, Gold Defense, 80 Speed
99 Prestige Machado (secondary): 112/119 Contact, 114/123 Power, Diamond defense, 49 Speed
Point is, a lot of cards are yet to come.

Point is, a lot of cards are yet to come.
Honus is the only one comparable if we’re splitting hairs. Tatis finest would be right there with Story like I mentioned earlier. Looking for a 5 tool player. Below 80 speed and you’re going to see a big dip in range. Just the way this game plays.

No better SS than a Story released in May? Funny as we had tons of better SSs last year not to mention The Hawk CAP. No doubt we will see a 99 Tatis at some point not to mention Honus and likely many others. Not a knock on Story but there isn’t a single “endgame” card right now besides maybe Chipper.
If Fernando Tatis has anything higher than Silver fielding ill be upset.

What would you rather take? Groshans that is pretty close to Story and free and get 200k stubs or Trevor Story even though there will be better shortstops released?

Maybe a better Banks in September?A parallel 5 Story is endgame without a doubt. 92 speed, 99 fielding, 99 reaction, 97 arm, 95+ in every important hitting category.
I don’t know any other 5 tool SSs that can drop until a Finest Tatis or maybe a juiced Lindor. And even then it will be preference.
You obviously don't know anything about the cap. Makes Trevor story look like a child.

I don’t include CAPs in how I evaluate players because I don’t use them.

Another Story is about to be released into the wild thanks to a Steve Finely walk off to go 9-1 and put me at 100. Eases the sting of losing my 8-0 game despite being up 6-0 — ouch....
