I've played since MLB 17 and I have never seen a feature added where all of the community liked it. Only some people liked 125 stats, only some people liked having the CAP, some people were against Signature Series at first.
This is different, I don't think I've seen anyone who dislikes the idea of PXP, it makes more cards usable for longer and is fun/gives you something to work for even during the dry content parts of the year.
They also somehow managed to balance it so it's just right, not too easy and not way too hard.
100% agree. Hope they keep it this way in future years as well. They implemented it perfectly and gives the stat/offline grinders something fun to work towards as well.
Prestige was great last year and they just took the negatives of it (online only), fixed them, and now everyone’s happy.
I love it! and seeing where you rank within PXP is really neat!
What was the negative about sig series?
The only reason people didn't like signature series in 19 was because Prime, Awards, and Milestone cards didn't exist and the card art was bland seeing them every game. I don't think anyone is really against the series in general
The only thing I hate is the cost of a few live series. After you level up the big guys they are actually usable so the collections climbed a lot but that's just a selfish reason for me. I love the parallel system and really do hope they stick with it. It's a great way to do it
