Casey mize has a 1.74 era with a 0.87 whip in may and yet Garcia is the runaway rookie of the month. Nobody has said anything of mize who has been better than the national league pitcher of the month lmao!!

True, but Mize has been good ina kind of unsexy way. Fairly low K’s and without crazy stuff. Kind of old school Corbin when he was good. I always hope for POTM cards that would be fun to play with. Muncy with great contact would be fun (won’t happen), Garcia, etc. honestly the player of the month should be a 99 Degrom... dude literally has the best stats ever, but they won’t do that.

True on the k’s but they’re coming bc he does have filthy sexy stuff with a fastball that tops out at 98 and a nice splitter and cutter. Theirs a reason he was drafted #1
