And now after I just unlocked Lee and pitched with him in a game he shows up as #31! This makes no sense! Just like Brad Miller, where does #15 come from??
Are you using the card from the Indians collection? He was 31 in Cleveland.
-
Not sure if im misremembering but wasnt he 31 in that half season in 09?
-
He wore 34 in his first stint with the Phillies, then 33, but at end of spring training in 2011, he switched to 31.
-
Yeah, like giving Sergio Romo his beard back!
Yet, Odor gets to keep his as a Yankee, no less, where beards go to die.....

Nope. Don’t have that one unlocked. This happened all the time in the show 19 as well because the Indians Lee card was in the game before the Phillies card and for some reason it always defaults to #31. Super annoying. Heck I’d rather he actually show up as #34 than #31 for the Phillies, at least he actually wore that number for his terrific 2009 postseason. (Where’s the nonchalant catch on the mound card?)

Sorry but I’m sure you are misremembering this. Lee never wore #31 for the Phillies, only #34 in 2009 and #33 from 2011-2014

Wrong assumption. But hey I figure this is the easiest fix in the world to mention that has nothing to do with the actual gameplay. Also SDS, bring us Roy Halladay while you’re at it please
except bring him in a jays uniform
That would be #32
But wasn’t he inducted into the HOF without a specific hat on his plaque? Meaning he is both a Jay and Phillie. That is special and they should make him a 99 card able to be used as either a Blue Jay or a Phillie -

I was a little confused at first as well, but instead of just assuming, I did research.
Edit: This has actually been driving me a bit crazy all day. While there’s a couple articles referencing Lee switching prior to start of the 2011 season, I cannot find any video or picture that actually shows him wearing 31 during a regular season game. Like you, I only ever remember Lee wearing 34 and then 33, in fact, I have a jersey of both. So, I highly doubt SDS did actual research and it’s an error in the game since his previous card with Cleveland is 31 and the game can’t resolve a player having worn more than one number.

LOL read the whole article. It’s an April fool’s day joke!

Remember back before you could access any stat, historical reference, or trivial bit through a 5 second Google search..people weren't coming out of the woodwork with these profound replies. I mean, who just knows what uniform # some slightly-above-average pitcher wore 30 years ago? But, to take it further and say nonchalantly..but he started this season with this #, then changed it, but changed it yet again as recently as 20 years ago to this #.
Ha, just funnin' with ya's. Enjoy.
