Yes. I skipped from halfway and got all 70. Id recommend getting to 7 runs, since by then you have enough golds and usable silvers to tee off on Marquez

Depends on which showdown you are doing, then it's a choice between a couple options randomly selected for you.

It’s either Roy Oswalt, German Marguez, or Kenley Jensen for the 1st inning I believe

If you're struggling post patch (like most are) you should do all the showdowns, better hitters make it easier.
