I lived in Ottawa for 8 years. We used to take the 417 all the way to the 416 til we hit the 401. Fun times
Yup! Exactly! What area? I'm in Barrhaven. The 'burbs!!!
I was living out in Nepean when I was out there for university. Go GeeGees!
Nice! It's a decent city. Incredibly green is the first thing I noticed moving here.
Ottawa is the most pleasant, active, and enjoyable city I lived in. Played so much rec hockey when I lived there.
I sure do miss a Broadway breakfast lol those garlic homefries were Mysoooooo gooooood
My mom's parents lived in a huge house at the corner of Riverdale and Windsor (now demolished for apartments). Massive garden. Very fond memories. Ottawa is such a lovely city and I would happily live there.

As would I.
Sadly, I dont think I could pull the trigger and rip my kids away from their environment.

There’s only away splits this year. There is no home. Even when they play their “home” games, it feels like an away game with more fans from the opposing team
100%. What he's doing is astounding considering they've had 2 years away from their home stadium and fans. Unprecedented.
Uh ..you do realize all that means is he is playing in the same ballpark he's been playing in the minors

Vlad played very little in Dunedin, and in Buffalo. Under 50 games at each stop.
Don't know what that has to do with anything anyways.. he hasn't played in front of Jays fans since 2019 is the point -

Just making the point that they've been away from their proper home for 2 years and no other team has had to face that. That was it. I think it's impressive, that they're having the success they're managing to have.

Ok, your point misses mine completely, but if we take your point at face value then it's still unprecedented because none of the other HR leaders have had to schlep back to the minors and not play in front of their fans when they put up huge numbers.

The Blue Jays have one of the largest fanbases. Top 5 easily. Because a whole country cheers for them. But not much good that does when they are playing games in a different country during a pandemic lol

Very small. Considering its their low A team that plays there, and once again, their fans would come down to Florida to watch during normal times.
Thousands of Canadians live in Florida during the winter. -
So happy he’s figured it out this year he’s playing just how we saw him in all those minor league videos. Can’t wait to watch him the rest of his career. Blue Jays have such a fun exciting young team. Lowkey a Blue Jays fan until the Tigers figure it out and fire Avila.

They will! I'm low-key tigers. My dad was a lifelong Tiger fan. I have a good feeling Mize, Torkelson and Manning will turn it around
