There’s only away splits this year. There is no home. Even when they play their “home” games, it feels like an away game with more fans from the opposing team

100%. What he's doing is astounding considering they've had 2 years away from their home stadium and fans. Unprecedented.

Uh ..you do realize all that means is he is playing in the same ballpark he's been playing in the minors

Vlad played very little in Dunedin, and in Buffalo. Under 50 games at each stop.
Don't know what that has to do with anything anyways.. he hasn't played in front of Jays fans since 2019 is the point

The point is you are saying What he's doing is astounding considering they've had 2 years away from their home stadium and fans....which really isn't that big of a deal to him considering he is just playing where he's been playing....not really that Unprecedented....just playing where he's been playing

Ok, your point misses mine completely, but if we take your point at face value then it's still unprecedented because none of the other HR leaders have had to schlep back to the minors and not play in front of their fans when they put up huge numbers.

No It doesn't miss your point at all. ..it is simply a counter to your point. He barely played in Toronto...so NOT playing in Toronto really isn't that big of a deal

Not playing in front of fans that cheer for you and not the other team isn't a big deal?
Then what is a home team advantage at all? Why do teams always do better at home?

No. They are a Canadian team. Most Canadian fans can't come to Florida because of border restrictions. They are playing teams like the Rays which are 30 mins away lol. And other teams that have fans who can travel to Florida

Yeah but usually there is a fan base in the area of the spring facility

The Blue Jays have one of the largest fanbases. Top 5 easily. Because a whole country cheers for them. But not much good that does when they are playing games in a different country during a pandemic lol

Very small. Considering its their low A team that plays there, and once again, their fans would come down to Florida to watch during normal times.
Thousands of Canadians live in Florida during the winter.

So happy he’s figured it out this year he’s playing just how we saw him in all those minor league videos. Can’t wait to watch him the rest of his career. Blue Jays have such a fun exciting young team. Lowkey a Blue Jays fan until the Tigers figure it out and fire Avila.

They will! I'm low-key tigers. My dad was a lifelong Tiger fan. I have a good feeling Mize, Torkelson and Manning will turn it around

They don't have fans at their own spring training sight?

No. They are a Canadian team. Most Canadian fans can't come to Florida because of border restrictions. They are playing teams like the Rays which are 30 mins away lol. And other teams that have fans who can travel to Florida

You're wasting your time trying to explain this lol

No I understand what he is saying...I just don't think it as hostile an environment as he thinks.

You haven't watched a single game. It's not hostile.. lol who said that? But it's full of opposing fans yelling at the Jays hitters and pitchers. There is video evidence of this haha. Every game played there this season.

Ehhh not as bad as you are making it out to be

That guy was right. Waste of time explaining something to you lol

100 percent. He keeps shifting his argument anyway. First it was because it was his minor league site. Then it's because he's young and because of COVID hasn't played much in Toronto anyway. Really all of that proves the point that he's achieving stupid numbers under conditions Acuna etc don't have to negotiate.

Didn't shift my argument at all ..simply saying where he's playing he is used to that stadium and area that was all...no shift anywhere

You have no argument. You're just trolling
