There’s only away splits this year. There is no home. Even when they play their “home” games, it feels like an away game with more fans from the opposing team
That first game back at Rogers Centre (pending restrictions) is going to be bonkers...
Vlad single as I write this lol

Yeah I feel bad for the GTA Jays fans who don’t get to see this live. I’m a hardcore Jays fan but would be lucky to attend 1 game a year living in Atlantic Canada.
I would be there alot if I were closer lol

I'm spoiled a bit there. From Ottawa, so 4 hour drive. My brother lives downtown Toronto, a good bar hop away, so we usually go 3 times a year and each time would be a whole weekend series. 8-9 games or so a year. I've been to every home opener since 2007. Absolutely love it, even though it's not a great stadium.. It's like home

I'm 2.5 hours away at present but did live there for two university years and spent a lot of time at SkyDome. When I moved out of Toronto I used to drive to Yorkdale and park for free, taking the TTC down to the stadium for the day. Always brought my glove and sat along the third base line but never caught a foul ball, unfortunately!

I'm in Kingston! Pretty easy drive to get to Toronto for games. You've got choices from Ottawa, do you do Highway 7 or do you get down to the 401?

Oh nice! I do the absolute hell that is 401 lol. We've done 7 but sometimes you'll get caught behind a slow camper or something and it takes forever. Scenic though

It is hell but a day out at the game was always a good motivator for me to make the drive! And when I was going to a lot of games, they were starting to get a bit terrible. This team has some upside! Having the HR leader is something I didn't expect this early in the season.

I lived in Ottawa for 8 years. We used to take the 417 all the way to the 416 til we hit the 401. Fun times

I had moved there in 2001 so it was still up and coming back then. I came back home in 2009 so I’m sure it’s changed dramatically since last time I’ve seen it. Probably 3-4x times the size it was back then. All kinds of construction and new builds the whole time I was there.
When I was done school, I worked a couple years at Lac Leamy until I found a job back home I could go to

Ya it's growing dramatically out in Kanata, Barrhaven, manotick.. basically the English side. Orleans not so much. Crazy housing prices.
