Been playing DD since 17, and The Show since PS2 days.

I am enjoying 21 but I think i'm hitting a wall now. The game is good, but pretty much all the game modes are the same, other than 4-5 new cards, many of the cards are the same, etc..... Franchise is the same...MTO is the same ... etc....

If you're new to the show I mean you'll love it I'm sure. But someone like me is getting a bit tired of it.

Any advice on how to keep the game fresh? I was thinking of maybe playing the daily moments every day and that's it.

    Not sure what to say.
But will agree the cards are pretty much the same every year.

I used to create new RTTS players with different positions to experiment with... can’t really do that anymore.

I like to occasionally give myself gameplay challenges. For example (not at the same time):
    Only Live players.
    All Lefties.
Only advance runners when forced (no steals or doubles).
    No primary pitch.

Creating silly rules can keep it fun.

When I reach that point, I just take a break and play another game for a bit. If you don't finish an inning program or you get a certain awesome card a little later than everyone else, it's not the end of the world. 🙂

Play against real life friends with the basic live teams. That's always more fun than DD or any offline mode.
    Wish we had online franchise.

I wish he had an offline DD season or franchise type mode. We've been asking that for years. I do like in some of the player programs when it says 'defeat this team vs cpu on all star'. wish we had more of that.

Like in 17, they had a program VS CPU to defeat all the teams in every level. That was probably my fav.

Last year I liked the program w/ the legends which was all offline where you had to defeat the legends teams on all levels. I think in total that was like 30 games vs cpu.

Need more stuff like that. At least it was something different and new.

Wish they still had that Career Stat rewards for DD. That would help keep grind motivation up
