Runners Stalling After Rounding Third Base
-
Is anyone else just completely fed up with this garbage?
Apparently, I can round first base heading to second, and round second base heading to third completely in stride. But when I have a runner on second and he rounds third trying to score on a base hit, he stalls, slows down, or gets stuck in mud temporarily allowing even outfielders with below average arms to throw him out at home plate.
This happens all the time and only when rounding third. And quite frankly, it’s a joke. It can cost you games.

I'm surprised it only happens in that scenario. I experience this mostly when I'm stealing a base, the runner will drag his feet somewhere in the middle of the basepath.
I've also had an issue where I was tagging up on a ball hit to the wall from 3rd going home, and the runner stopped short of the plate, then did a standing dive. The runner was Mondesi, and I did not hit R2 to stop him

Change to classic baserunning and never have problems again (provided you avoid the L1/R1 bumpers).
