In two or three months, they'll probably be quick sell. They're going to give away 42 pre-order packs at some point; conquest, inning programs, maybe events.

So glad I dropped the $$ to pick these guys up early, most cost 24-28k when I did have 99 Jackie now well worth it

Yeah I wish I would have been smarter with who I took. Have Griffey, Mo, Gibson and Ruth but based on the market I seem to have chosen the wrong ones. Closing in on completing the team affinity’s but may have to hang tight on Jackie until we get free cards or the market improves

Ripken will be expensive because anyone who has played this game in years past knows that regardless of stats his swing makes him unusable for anything other than collections.
Many were excited to collect Mays a few years ago, but like Ripken his swing makes him the “Say hey, I’ll buy that from someone who made a poor selection when I am ready to finish the collection kid.”
This is definitely me lol. Even worse, I chose Mays with the non sellable 42 card given to everyone. Thinking I was able to sell it with his price so high. I guess collections it is for me.

Exactly why Ruth and Griffey are cheap. Everyone chose the above two first. Leaving the others to build in price.
Don’t forget Gibson. He’s terrible but actually the most expensive 42

Yeah. I know theyll be WS within a few months. Just wondering if I should sell them and use the stubs towards Collections or just use them and parallel them.
By the time they're QS value; they be obsolete and then be better cards out there plus better versions of these players.

Probably around Thanksgiving when they release 47 maps in 4 weeks

If those are the two choices, use them or sell them, I'd sell them when I thought they were at the highest. Those 88s are already obsolete if you have the cards, and once they start releasing them in other areas of the game, their price is going to start dropping.

It will be well before Thanksgiving. There will be a lot of people who will have left by then, and a good number of them won't be too happy they couldn't get Jackie if they waited to release 42s until then. I have to believe the majority of players didn't pre-order.
