Frank Tanana

Anyone around here NOT think the Frank Tanana card is awful?
-
I think he’s a viable option. I wouldn’t trust him much on AS but is usable on HOF+
-
He's good in the upper tiers if you pitch unpredictably and mix up your sequences
-
Is a card like liberatore better than tanana on all star? Just because if the sinker?
-
Faced him on HOF and found him extremely easy to hit
Could’ve been the person using him was predictable but I don’t see anything special about that card

Its more because of the pitch repertoire also. On AS, it’s alot easier to lay off or adjust to both curveballs so you’re left with only the fastball and changeup to work with pretty much.
On allstar, I’d rather have a pitcher with 5 pitches that have great movement and speed differentials

Tanana is my ace. Online I’m 20-4 with a 2.95 era (go ahead fact checkers, do your thing)...I find that people often just don’t use him right. He has the best change up & sweeping curve in the game. Use his offspeed stuff as your primary pitches & throw the fastball when you need it & you will have success with him. Dude is a stud!

I haven't used him that much but I'd call him my ace. I would have liked a slider but the sweeping curve is close enough considering he's a lefty with good velocity and good /9s
