Maybe SDS should post at the end of the game the contact/hit rating after the game instead of the score. We should score the game based on that way because that is how baseball is. I honestly don't remember when I robbed someone of a perfect/perfect because it is like a brief second where I think... hell yes F*** him over, feels bad man...

I havenât played any ranked this year because of the servers. But I have played since 16 and can honestly say I feel like garbage when it happens for or against me. When it happens for me I feel like it was undeserving/not rewarding especially if someone is carving me up and I havenât done anything to help myself out (taking pitches, swinging at garbage, not having good timing or pci placement, or doing anything remotely baseball savvy to get the bats going, etc). A win is a win and yeah thatâs great and Iâll take them. But at the end of the day I want to feel like I earned them and wasnât just handed them at someone elseâs unlucky and undeserved demise.

Can't hit low off speed even with perfect timing. Absolute joke, no one throws anything but these in game and you get penalized for trying to pitch legitimately.

Decided to play a ranked before bed. Billy Effing Hamilton contact swing 2 run shot. Im done. This game is garbage.

It IS frustrating but you kinda have to expect that if youâve no hit a guy for eight innings (and I assume you havenât scored or have a thin lead) that he is due.
Players make adjustments. These kinds of things are way more likely to happen when you run your pitcher into the yellow.

I always seem to be going happily ever after until the 4th/5th inning, then the person gets a bloop into centre with a pitcher, then 2 late line drives that just about drop on the foul line and the games gone.

Yes the game isn't very realistic hitting wise however it goes the same both ways it seems momentum confidence play big roles

Hmmm, I didnât buy this year because I hated the direction they went with â20. Seems like I made the right move if not much has changed. Sad, I miss playing baseball online and video games in general, but I couldnât bring myself to invest substantial amounts of money on a new console in advance just to play MLB the Show, given SDS track record. Had I paid for the PS5 and preordered for early access and bonuses as usual, Iâd have been really mad at myself as much as SDS. Everythingâs gone pretty much as I feared it might so far with â21.
