    A few for me are:

    1. Being at exhibition stadium in Toronto in 1982 for Jim Clancy 's near perfect game against Minnesota.
    2. At the skydome in Toronto for Doug Linton's debut 2 hitter against Baltimore (was supposed to be Dave Stieb's start but he was injured).

    And a funny one:

I was sitting behind the yankee bullpen in Toronto watching Jeff Nelson flick sunflower seeds into right field and almost hitting Paul O'Neil in the head. I called to Nelson and pointed it out to him, he replied "oh [censored], thanks" and started flicking them towards center field...Tom Gordon was next to him and started laughing.

    A few from Baltimore:

    • The game when the Orioles clinched the AL East title in 2014. They celebrated on the field for a solid half hour afterwards, spraying fans with beer, doing laps around the park, relishing it.
    • When David Ortiz got angry at the ump and smashed the dugout phone with a bat
    • Seeing Earl Weaver have one of his extended screaming tirades and getting ejected
    • The game in 1980 when John Lowenstein tried to steal second and the catcher’s throw drilled him in side of his head. He was flat on his back, and they had to bring out a stretcher to carry him off the field. It was somber. He lay motionless until the stretcher just about reached the Orioles dugout, then he sat bolt upright and shot both fists into the air above his head, and the crowd just erupted.

I have a few good memories from going to O’s games.

    1. I got to see Cal Ripken hit a grand slam
    2. Adam Jones hitting an inside the park home run at Nationals Park (odd side story, we were on the first base side and saw a woman get it with three foul balls)
    3. When I was a kid, probably around 8 or 9, my uncle had season tickets. At one of the games, I was taking pictures with a disposable camera. The Oriole Bird came over, took the camera and took pictures of all the players in the dugout for me.
    4. I was at an O’s/A’s game where Jeffrey Hammonds it a walk off home run to win the game 1-0.
    5. I can’t remember what game it was, my father was walking to the concession stand and walked into Frank Robinson on his way back and got to talk with him for a bit. That was one of my father’s best memories of going to a game.
    6. At an O’s / Mariners game, I got to see Mussina go up against Randy Johnson.

I had tickets to go see Expos vs Braves on August 19th... 1994.

    Ouch

Yep that one hurt the last 27 years!! 🤣

But! I did make a trip solo for a 3 games set in Pittsburgh and saw Alvarez put it in the water. Amazing ballpark and people. During a rain delay (my seats were lower level behind the plate that game, under the concourse) watched the Stanley Cup final on a guy’s phone. Great time.
