I've been playing on my PS4 since early release, just got my Xbox Series X in and got everything running with my linked account. I go in to simply do the daily mission on DD and holy [censored] is the PCI so laggy. I don't really see anything said about this on the forums. The game is running great and very smooth but the PCI is incredibly skippy/jumpy/glitchy.
The only time I've had issues is when controller batteries get low. Other than that no problems. Might just be your controller/system. Is there a way to update the controller? Or plug it in and see if it auto updates or makes any difference with input

All is updated. I've tried multiple controllers. Literally the only issue is the PCI, I don't get it.
Turn off cross play

Didn't work unfortunately. https://imgur.com/gallery/77VHFBC That's a video of my PCI.
Who's your batter when it happens

It's any batter, any pitcher, any game mode, and stadium, day or night.
Clear your cache. Unplug the Xbox from the wall for 15-30 seconds.. see if it helps.
I will try it, but on a brand new console with nothing but MLB installed?

You still need to clear it once in awhile
You need to play wired on the Xbox series x . Playing with a wireless controller causes pci lag. Tested it a bunch of times.
There's communication issues in your room with the Bluetooth connection.
In addition, try cleaning the stick with a q-tip. It's called stick drift and happens frequently, especially with controllers that are abused by games like fortnite.

That’s one thing I actually didn’t think of but makes complete sense. My PC and other devices are all right beside the Xbox, so I will try a few things when I get home.

I do believe it’s a Bluetooth issue. I’m gonna try a few things when I get home from work. Controller is brand new and I also tried a second controller with no luck.

My wife has type one diabetes. I strictly use a wired connection for the PS5 controller and did the same with the PS4. Sometimes while her pump was communicating with her sensor, I'd lose audio from my headset on the controller.

Wow, I didn’t know Bluetooth signal could be interrupted to easily. I’m hoping that’s all it is but I feel like I was using my elite controller wired the second time I tried but I can’t remember. Either way, I’m gonna move some things around when I get back.

Ever place your phone next to a wired computer speaker? You'll hear Morse code sometimes. hehe

Same issue here on Xbox Series S..
Play on the same TV as the Ps5 and Ps5 has no issues like this..
Makes Pinpoint pitching impossible to get perfect lol
did anyone ever find a fix for this? Having the same issue and it's literally unplayable. My PCI is stuttering and it's impossible to throw a perfect pitch using pinpoint.

Yes. A wired controller
