What's everyone thoughts on pts carrying over to different Stages?
I'm at 148 pts for the AL East. 2 more points and I'll have all the Holds and 42 Diamond players.
However, I still need to get one XBH with Gold Longoria for 4 pts. One HR with 42 Stanton for 4 pts, 4 XBHs with 42 Bichette for 4pts, and what ever I would need once I get the last 42 packs with Adames.
Now, I have Longoria, Stanton, and Bichette in my grinding lineup now.
Is it better to take them out of the lineup u til Stage 2 opens? That way if they do carry over, I'll have a possible 10 pts towards Stage 2 once I finish those 3 missions?
I can't remember if anything carried over last year.
-
I don’t think the points will carry over. They didn’t last year so I doubt they would this year
-
If you wait at 148 pts and complete the mission after season 2 releases you should have 152.but none of the other missions will count.

So, if I need one HR with Stanton for 4 points, 2 XBHs with Bichette for 4 pts, 1 XBH with Longoria for 4pts, and 9 Innings with AL East players and I run those three in a Conquest game and get the hits; technically I would have 22pts.
But if I'm at 148, as long as ALL if that is done in the same game: I should carry over 20pts onto Season 2?

No. if it works like last year the missions would only count up to 150 pts. so the one that gets you to 150 the extra would still count but the others would already be at the max pts , so they wouldnt.
even if complete in same game the missions would still register complete one at a time. -
It hard to tell as SDS has changed how every program works good chance it's just a new season of TA and nothing for the 1st season will impact the 2nd.
That said if I had to guess Season 2 drops and you will need the 5 42 season players to unlock season 2 once unlocked season 1 goes away including any left over missions so points don't carry over
-
no point in waiting you're gonna hit the innings played sooner than later and if your gonna keep all players from that division out of lineups for the sake of 2 points that's quite dumb
-
So I don't need to worry about getting all divisions to 100%? I didn't want to get to season 3 or something of TA and have to grind for weeks to catch up if there is a card I really want. At the end of season 1 everything will reset?

I'm guessing TA will not reset and they will just add onto the existing track. Those 42 cards are needed for the 99 Jackie collection and are not sellable. That would be a total kick in the you-know-what if they reset the track and then anyone that didn't get those cards could not get Jackie.

TA is already an insane grind in my opinion. Showdown is so bad that its unfortunate thats the only real way to complete all the divisions without grinding for weeks and weeks. They need to re-work it a bit. There's nothing fun about it

Insane grind? It's supposed to be a long term goal which is why it isn't something that updates roughly every month like the innings. But it's not that hard. Collections go towards TA, doing the missions with cards goes towards it, showdown, repeatable innings, etc.
You want insane grind? That was last year where you had to grind all 30 teams individually.

Yea I've done the TA grind before. I understand its supposed to be a long grind but its a bit silly that showdowns are so important if you're trying to complete them. I think we can all agree that showdowns are all but broken. They're a joke honestly. I can beat them just fine but they're terrible. They're nerfed down so bad it sad and they're already kinda sorta hinting at a new TA season. By the time we get a couple more seasons in ot will be almost impossible to catch up

I completed the showdown once and have 3 divisions at 100%, a fourth around 90%, and the final two over 80%. If you focus on TA it doesn't take a lot to get them maxed out.

I completed all TA without doing a single showdown.
Just selected a whole team on that division. Then about 12 ranked and 10 CPU games later it’s done.

I get that but I'm not gonna sit there and play a million innings against the computer. That's not my idea of fun in any way. Honestly I'd rather play showdown lol.

What was your strategy? I can't just sit there and play CPU games over and over personally. There is nothing fun about that. I guess I could play ranked but don't always have the time to play full games unless its late

It isn’t fun. In fact. It was depressing. Hence “grind”
But I now got 99 Jackie haha!

It only seems like a mind numbing grinds because there are only a select few of those cards that are even worth going after for any reason other than Jackie. There's roughly 10 good ones and the rest of them are just getting put into collections. If you put it off it's going to be more of a grind then it already is though

thats very true, i can safely say only about 2 or 3 '42' cards are worth my time. rest are fodder.

I've been cycling the USA conquest map. I'll get the missions done for players earned in TA and fill out the rest of the team with a specific division. Doing this also nets me more stubs selling the prospects & XP towards the inning program.
