I used conquest to lvl up CAP archetypes to diamonds and to get diamond perks and gear. Super easy on Rookie.

I haven't done the USA map since 2017 or '18, but I think I'll do it now, reading all these posts. Normally, I'd look at the map and cringe. I'm not a quick, limited turn player, so it would take me longer. -
I've taken like 4 strongholds on it... it just looks like such a grind I struggle to fully commit to it.

Im almost completed the 3rd time. Will continue to do so until I have all the Team Affinities knocked out.

The USA map is a great source for pxp. It's also a pretty good source for stubs. You get six golds out of it (repeatable), which will net you about 4000 each. Then they give you 6000 stubs, and a ten pack which is at least a few thousand. While you're playing you're leveling up your cap, which ultimately gives you a couple pieces of diamond equipment you can sell off.
Pxp and xp are totally different. If you're after xp, you'll want to play as or higher. Pxp only cares about results, so you want to play rookie and roll up the stats.
When I'm beginning a round I hit Colorado on as, steal and play Oakland on as, steal against Seattle on as and then play them on veteran. After that I'm off and rolling, playing the rest of the games on rookie.
