Not trying to dictate pace at all and only r2 now when the quick pitching starts. Never done it before but sick of it now. You can work as quick as you want if you come set. You can work as slow as you want as long as you come set.

The only thing that I use R2 for is to check the pitcher stamina and confidence. I only use R2 once or twice a game.

Yes you are you’re trying to slow them down. That’s dictating pace. Doesn’t matter if they come set it’s not real life lmao it’s a video game.

good idea, but I honestly feel as if it would be really annoying to see it every pitch, I don't need to see it that often.

Still, the pause timer should apply.

They should take time off the Pause Timer if you hold it too long or multiple times per at bat.

I know mlb games are made to be longer than nba and nfl games, but spending an 45-minutes to an hour in a game, it doesn't have to be a sports game, is really long for a single match.

Quick pitching is when pitcher selects pitch, from that point batter can no longer access pause menu, step out of box, or press R3. So that is a problem if batters can't use tools given them. Not slide stepping.
But nobody wants to acknowlege that aspect of it. You know why b/c if they cry hard enough and get R2 taken out they know from that point forward there is no counter.

One press of R2 per at bat...
Would fix that spam of R2 to try to mess up your pitching easy
