They need to tinkering around with the sliders and patch defensive abilities for outfielders and infielders.

OF have insane range and closing speed. Whereas infielders have basically no range or closing speed. You very rarely see a ball in the air go over the OF head. When the ball is hit behind the OF it's either a homerun or the OF catches up pretty much every time. I

Every OF is Usain Bolt regardless of speed attribute once the animation locks in

Very true but the bad OF have their issues with fielding, babe Ruth for example I have in left, if a ball is hit his way he sometimes over runs it or sometimes it looks like he’s high bc a ball will be hit and he will do that animation where he doesn’t move, steps forward and then starts running backwards whereas Buxton will just have amazing reaction time, but yeah I see what ur saying for sure.

It has more to do with the computer automatically moving outfielders deep when power hitters are up. They don’t play normal depth against bombers, even vs a person it auto moves them.

I agree with the OF having range. I have diamond Trent Grisham and Byron Buxton who have really good reaction and fielding, combine that with great speed and you have it so if the ball is hit in their direction it either has to go over their head for a HR or has to be a bloop hit.

The issue will probably be noticable later on in the year where almost every new card of players will have diamond fielding and reaction. This will turn the game into, either hit a homerun or it's a lineout everytime.
