They need to do what Hearthstone does and give people bad luck protection, if you don't get a diamond in 50 packs your odds go up. Well they don't need to but I would like it, lol.

I hope they never do this. The reason why mobile games do it is because that’s how they make their money. It’s a free game, yet almost every mobile game out their is pay to win. If people were guaranteed a diamond every 100 packs they open, people would spend tons of money buying packs just to get the to the guaranteed diamond. The system how it is is perfect. There are so many free packs that are given out just by grinding the game. This is why the shows “ultimate team” is the best in any sports game. Sorry the OP doesn’t understand how odds work, but this is the model 2k and EA need to follow

I have not bought any bundles this year except for release night and last night I bought a 50 bundle. I pulled degrom, Betts and nola in that 50 bundle. Its bundles like that that even out bundles like yours. I got lucky, bundles are usually a waste. I used to be addicted to them. I learned my lesson this year but am stubs rich so of course I bought a bundle and it was a huge gain. This is how sds sucks me back into the addiction. Geniuses!

That is the best way I've seen it put.

I bought 200 packs and Not pull any Diamond players in some B.S. it says odds are 1:50
so if i bought 4 50 bundles and and didn't pull any diamonds.
it's kind of funny how all the You tuber and Twitch star pull diamonds all day long in 50 bundle packs when i should at least received 4 diamonds. I mean i been playing this game since 2006 and i love the game. SDS got to figure something out about packs are something spending $200 all stubs and not pull any diamonds it very sad when your odds say 1:50 which mean i should of got 1 diamond per 50 pack.

Yeah that sucks, but you need to read up on how odds work my friend.

Pack odds are horrendous in this game... save your stubs for collections and buying off of market.

I buy 20 packs here and there, maybe once a week from stubs I make playing the different DD modes and programs. When all my commons and bronze are completed, I start putting buy orders and buy packs less often. After that I finish the easier/cheaper collections and buy July most diamonds are cheap except the usual 5-6 that are rare.

I enjoy opening packs but my expectations are zero. I will not buy standard packs with stubs and have gotten to the point now where I won't buy any of the Headliners either.

I'm NMS and have pulled Kershaw, Buehler and DJ Lemahieu from free packs, so it's better than no diamonds at all.

I would get this all the time. I remember back some years, think it was 18, I went 330 packs with no diamonds. Yea, I kept track. This year I have over 500 TA, balling and show packs and have pulled 5 diamonds. Abreu, Seager, Bueler 2 and Bauer. All under 20k. Sad really. First time trying collections so early and already regretting it. Should have kept Brett and Seaver. Only good to get collections done if you can do it early enough to get an advantage. Won't be much of an advantage in several months if I can finish by then. Will need some 12 win BR runs.

Sometimes you're just unlucky...I have probably open around 300+packs and have pulled 3 diamonds... it will be better if you save your stubs (or buy them) and just buy the diamonds off the market.

I only buy packs on launch day then never buy another pack the rest of the game's lifecycle.

I'm up to around 250 free packs this year and I've pulled Rendon, Yelich and Hader. I would say 80% of all cards I pull are commons and bronze. I'm getting kind of friggin sick of it. Rendon & Yelich were within the first day of pre-launch, then hader about 2 weeks ago. No diamond in two weeks. I won't buy packs, EVER. They are a scam. Yet, a guy on my friend list has had 20+ pulls. I logged in two days ago and within the span of a few minutes, he pulled 2 Verlanders, Arenado and Judge. Then yesterday, he pulled 4 more diamonds. I mean, what in the literal F. I have common TY streamer on my friends list and he's always pulling diamonds too. I'm getting so sick of packs this year. I pulled over 50 last year but I can't get crapola this cycle.

I'm a bit OCD and I want to finish collections, but I can never pull good cards. Plus, playing games you get awarded with a whopping 5 stubs or so at the end. Kinda pathetic. They prey on people that have addictions to buy stubs. I spent money last year and regret it since I really never got any value out of it in my RS games. I sucked with Mickey (batted like .220) so all the extra funds put into the game to get him was a complete waste.

Just for you I actually ran the numbers - you have a 98% chance of opening a pack and not seeing a diamond - which means in 200 packs you actually had a 1.76% chance of not seeing a diamond. I would say that you were rather unlucky here but not to the point of it being an absurdly uncommon occurrence. For comparison sake - the chances of rolling 2 six sided dice and having the result come up 9 twice in a row is 1.2%. Or rolling 8 twice is 1.9% - its rare but it happens.

For comparison sake somewhere between 34 packs and 35 packs is where your 50% chance of seeing a diamond and
It would take you between 339-340 packs to have a 99.9% likelihood of seeing a diamond

Ive seen kids pull 2 trouts in a matter of 10 packs
But for me i cant even get a low tier diamond
I have physically had to grind market to pull over hundreds of thousands of stubs just to get some collection players
    MLB just hates my guts

Ive pulled around 40-45 diamonds from bundles, $150 on release night is the only money ive spent so far, so mainly just using stubs from grinding the market.past 4 days have been pretty slow though on pack luck but i expected it with how on fire i was for a while

I haven’t pulled a diamond since April 22nd, it’s June 11th. The diamonds I pulled were Kershaw and Chapman. No packs will work; not team affinity, definitely not standard, I’ve probably opened 40 ballin is a habit packs, I haven’t even gotten a gold in headliners, (only opened like 10 of them). Starting to think I’m black listed or something.

SDS gives enough free packs you literally get hundreds of free packs just by playing there is no point to go buy them from the market. Do the smart thing and use stubs to buy diamond players you want. I'm NMS and am 5 teams away from finishing collections and I haven't pulled any diamond higher than 90+ besides Arenado in a BR run.

This is literally the best advice you can give to people who get so bummed out about packs. My rule for at least the past three games is that I only buy packs in the first 4-5 days when it's exciting to pull anything -- even silvers.

I hear you. I went to a casino, it says they pay out 92.8%. I didn't win on my five pulls. Total scam.

Learn odds dude, stop buying packs if you don't like gambling.

I love the 2 years clean line that's awesome and I doubt I will ever be able to say that. I personally love opening packs and this is a good time to do it considering many, hell almost all of these cards will not even come close to a lineup later in the year along with the fact that SDS just dumped a pile of really good cards from TA 2 on us you can sell off almost anyone if you need a fix and most likely ha E a descent replacement. For everyone who complains about not pulling diamonds keep buying they are out there and you will hit eventually and its 1 of the most fun parts of the game hitting those whales. If your strategy for acquiring cards needed is to gamble on packs good luck but dont cry about odds or complain about things being rigged nobody forced you and many warned against. As for me I hit top tier twice on the Sink 2 packs today I sold both and have just about spent it all on show packs fishing. Luckily I have 2 batches of TOPPS moments to do so I should be able to get my next fix on SDS

packs are a joke, bought 50 last night barely scratched a 80 gold in all 50 packs, however i think they should abolish paying for anything but inside currency, im tired of playing these fools who literally bought every player they have with real money, 300 rating and every player you have is 98 come on, but feels great when they have all 98 players and i still win with mid 80s players
