42 series card mistake

So I accidentally selected Giancarlo Stanton twice from the 42 series packs that you receive completing team affinity. Now I won’t be able to collect the 99 overall Jackie Robinson due the fact I have to Stanton 42 cards. I need Xander Bogarts but I already completed the AL East team affinity program. Also you can’t sell these cards and are not on the market. I would appreciate it if anyone has a solution to this.

There are a bunch of people that have done the exact same thing and sometimes the card show up as new instead of duplicates there's some sort of glitch when opening packs sometimes. I'm assuming it has something to do with the servers. The only thing you can do is bring it to the attention of the community and submit a bug report so hopefully SDS does something about it. The easiest solution in my opinion is one you have all team Affinity 42 series packs open you should automatically have all those non sell cards in your inventory no matter if you accidentally chose a duplicate or not. @Collin_SDS_PSN

I would submit a ticket, but be aware it will probably take at least 3-4 weeks for them to get back to you.

I've seen enough of these posts now that I genuinely wonder why people continue to open those 42 packs without knowing what cards they have or don't have out of the 5 possible cards. I'm sorry it happened to you if the card didn't flash the x1 at you but this is an avoidable problem. if you're not sure then check your inventory before opening the pack.

Not everyone comes on here all the time and some only do so when there is an issue so it's not that hard to believe people do this because the game isn't working the way it should. The devs have had these threads up here enough and had the tickets long enough to fix this so in a lot of cases, this is 100% on them.

I got duplicate Anthony Santander too smh, I guess we are beat on having Jackie. They should just make it where it shows cards you don’t have already to chose from instead of giving you the option to even get a duplicate.

Next time they do one of these collections, hopefully they implement an error message that makes it impossible to choose a card twice. I didn't have any issues because reading all these posts made me be extra careful when I was choosing, but I would be pretty frustrated if it happened to me.

I didn't even make a duplicate pick, it just disappeared. I sent a ticket about 2 weeks after launch and still haven't heard anything. More important things I'm sure, but boy I'd sure like to play with Jackie Robinson.

Don't worry there will be people on here defending SDS saying there's no way the card disappeared and you are a moron for selecting the wrong card twice. With all the issues in this game anyone that can defend and say that there are not card glitches and errors in your portfolio are just ignorant. Good luck man.

Yeah. I have video evidence of it. Here's the real kicker. After I picked him I put him on my bench. He's still there. So the card isn't in collection, doesn't exist, but he's on my bench and I can use him.

Yeah this happened to me. Still waiting for a response. Once they give me the guy I need I get Jackie and Mariano. It’s amazingly frustrating that they don’t seem to care AT ALL

Hey sds can you please help me out, when I was grinding the 42 series for Jackie i picked a duplicate Giancarlo Stanton and only needed the Willy Adames. Can you add some type of exchange to fix this

I did the same thing. I tried messaging a dev on here but not sure how that is gonna work. I tried emailing, but idk how well that will workout either a lot of people have done it. Just hope that it won’t keep us from getting Jackie. That would suck

I have the same problem. I have all the cards minus David Fletcher. I have two Joey Gallos. Submitted a report June 4th, still haven’t heard back.

Not sure why they don’t just add a new exchange that allows you to swap 42 series cards. Comparable to Madden with the team captain exchanges.

I just did the same thing with team affinity Matt Olson.... I thought I was opening a home run derby pack (I had both to open)
now I can't get Acuna or Ohtani because I'm short Michael Brantley. they need to make it where you cannot select the same player twice.... they're useless if you accidentally do and it's a huge mistake when we make this error
