Why does Don Mattingly have a generic batting stance for three years straight?!

Really? SDS. You guys re-make of bunch stances for mediocre players that no one will use, but yet a legend like Don Mattingly is stuck with a crappy PS2 generic stance? not kidding, his stance has been there since the PS2 days.

how cool would he look if he had this swing and stance.
For the love of God, please update his stance.

Yeah plus his card is never that good because of the power meta. It sucks because my dad’s favorite player is “Donnie baseball”, but I’m not really able to use him on my main team.

The 94 Mattingly in 19 started at 1st for me for a long time. He only had 64 power vs. righties, but I still hit a lot of homeruns and doubles with him.
I sold that card at some point because I expected a signature series card to come out and thought the price of the 94 would tank. Unfortunately that never happened, but at some point signature series Gehrig came out and held down 1st for pretty much the remainder of that lifecycle.

Mattingly was always tinkering with his stance. The in game one is close, however.
He used to rest the bat on his shoulder as the pitcher went into his windup.
At least it's in the neighborhood.
Mike Schmidt is the most inaccurate. He used to stand off the plate as far as possible, feet closed, and drive into the ball.
They have him so close that the card is beyond use.
It's a shame. Schmidt is the greatest 3rd baseman of all time and no one uses him. -

They seem to use only one of his stances, and haven't changed it. It's also too bad as he is one of the greatest offensive SS that ever played.
