I have enough stubs to buy Mike Trout as I planned, but now I'm thinking about completing NL West with that. I already have Padres done and I could easily add Gagne and mainly Finley to my team.
What would you do? Is it better to buy Trout, cause he is maybe best card in the game or is Finley on similar level?

    What you're really comparing is

    Trout, Tanana, Rickey

    Vs.

    Finley, Gagne

If you like Finley go for it.. Its the best version you'll see of him all year.. not Rickey or Gagne...

This is the thing. I'm not very excited about Tanana and Henderson. With NL West done I could get also Ernie Banks relatively soon and maybe in future complete NL East

SPORTPIMPIN: This is also true, I have Buxton Lofton and Ohtani in the outfield, but with Finley it would be stacked and as a bonus I would have another good lefty in my bullpen.

Edit: Gagne is righty not lefty, but he would be still good addition

I wish I didn't lock trout in. Trout is great but Tanana is basic and good players hit well against him and henderson has a garbage swing. Ohtani is awesome, Buxton hits well, and if you asked me today of i would trade my parallel trout for finely I would.

I think you said you’re offline only, if that’s the case, go for NL. That’s a lot of stubs for a player geared more towards online (IMO, I’m sure others disagree). I’m fortunate to have both Trout and NL done, and I still haven’t locked on Trout. I like to have stub flexibility and Trout is basically 350k in a bank until I need it for something else.

I'm not offline only. I don't play now much online, but after buying Trout or completing NL West I'm planning to play RS a lot more. Now I'm more convinced to do NL West first and all AL later in the year

Sorry, must’ve confused you with someone else. Anyway, yeah, definitely focus on NL before AL, much better collections rewards. You do end up with a LOT of relievers, but that doesn’t mean they all need to be used. Have fun and enjoy.

If you are planning to do all the LS collections you might as well get Trout and parallel him up. The guy flat out rakes. He has bailed me out in alot of games. My suggestion is buy him and try him out for yourself. It is all about swing and I like Trouts swing for me. Rickey is just ok. He lacks pop but gappers are triples with him. At a minimum he will be a bench guy for the next three months based on his speed alone. Tanana is OK, slow windup but a nice selection of pitches. He is much better if you parallel him all the way up.

What I did with my "Trout money" is bought the NL East..

Acuna, Glavine (amazing pitcher!), And Franco was a massive addition to my team. And Glavine is guaranteed to be in my rotation for awhile. His control is almost 99 everything...

Trout at this point is arguably the best OF in the game. Tanana didn’t strike me as good on paper but he’s the only SP I got that still has an ERA of 0.00. Sitting at 835 in RS

I just completed NL West and I have still stubs for completing NL Central. That NL East will have to wait, but I'm in no hurry to do it fast.
I believe Trout is great, but now I'm gonna have Finley, Gagne and Ernie Banks (coming soon) in my squad. That's worth it in my opinion for one Mike
