Equipment changing on its own

Whenever I change between my pitcher and position player archetypes, my equipment settings change on their own. The most annoying one is that I lose a batting glove (why would I only use 1 batting glove?!). Or I'll want sunglasses on my outfielder but not on my pitcher but he ends up wearing sunglasses for both. I don't remember before starting a game to go in and reset my equipment.

Yep, I equip the wrist guard and shin guard for the Attribute boosts, but remove them from my appearance. They reappear after a while.
