My player gets cut from the playoff roster 2 years in a row
-
I'm in my 4th year now with the Astros, my guy is a 85 overall pitcher who also hits 90 home runs per year and hits like .500 (Rookie mode). I won the MVP and cy young my first full season and made the ALDS and won that. Then I get cut from the postseason roster and we obviously end up losing. Then I played another season with similar stats and the exact same thing happened again. Very frustrating. Is this a bug? Happening to anyone else?

Other people have posted on this with the same experience as you indicate. I wouldn't say that this is a bug - more of a game design flaw. Basically SDS has to revisit the logic used in the post season roster management to account for the 2-way players that they are forcing everyone to be with the new Archetype model.
I find it moderately amusing (in a very exasperated sort of way) that they push the 2-way so hard on us but they didn't fix their post season logic to account for it. And yes, I say that the 2-way is a force because no matter if you choose to only play one-way you will still be locked into a secondary position which is the other.
Anyway, if you don't want to have to deal with ongoing post season roster weirdness, start a new toon that is not a 2-way player. At least until they fix it.

How do you start a toon that isn't 2 way?

All start out 2 way but after you play you first 3 games, having to pitch the first one no matter what, your agent calls you. Tell him you are unhappy and only want to play a position or pitcher which ever you want. He will make sure the coach does that. Your secondary position will be stuck on whatever you didn’t pick to continue. Throughout your career the manager will keep asking you to be two way player. Just keep saying no, that you want to play only your current position.
