Hitting

Well im 16 games under 500 on ranked season so im pretty much finished all ready. I cant hit for sh**. Never have been able to on any show game and im lost, is it the game that sucks or me? Ive tried every view and strategy

This game sucks i cant see the fastball and i love SDS which is why this sucks

If you can’t hit in this years game then idk what to tell you lol

Yeah its pointless to play all of my games are close and i strike out 10 times a game

Do you play on a monitor?

No i realize all the great players play on monitors.

You don’t need a monitor this year if you have a decent tv. Pitch speeds are plenty slow to play on the big screen.

Hitting is great this year! Feels fair. Pitch speeds need to be a bit better though.

There are a few possible reasons:

1 - Your TV input lag is terrible and nothing you do will really help
2 - You can't play the PCI well when you recognize pitches in the zone so you can either practice or continue to struggle
3 - You have poor pitch recognition and chase pitches out of the zone which result in bad AB's and strikeouts. Honestly if you strike out a lot in this game the reality is that you're probably wayyyy too aggressive and chase bad pitches or just not very good at placing the PCI.

So if you have a monitor/tv with good input lag then it's all on you. It's not the game.

Do you use the zone hitting interface and strike zone camera?

Yes i use strike zone & zone/pci. Should i change it?

Nope. Those are the optimal settings to hit imo.
