Possibly the worst inning in the show history.

Let's see.
- You're playing at Shitpit
- You're spamming high and tight sinkers on the black
Looks like it's the Karma perk.
We've all been on both sides of these. You gave up 7 hits in 3 innings at Shitpit. Consider yourself lucky.

That was Angel Hernandez at 1st lol, he was out!
Woooooooo wait a minute here ! Your about to have a 4 strikes walk if you continue to hate on Angel !!!! Haha
-
Yeah Banks blows
-
Thanks for the vid and the replays, that was crazy. Slightly changing the topic, did Glavine throw sinkers irl? I watched a lot of Braves in those days and I really remember that little fastball at about 89-90 and the change.

Don’t remember if it was sinker or 2FB, but he lived on that outside corner vs RH. And since I was watching the Expos in french back then, I don’t know if they had terminologies for both 2 seamer and sinker. That and the plate being almost a foot larger by the 3rd inning; the good ol’ reputation umpiring before tracking technology lol

ooh I watched a lot of Expos in French too (mid-90s). About twice a year they would give us an English broadcast when the Jays had the night off. You're right, it was probably more a 2-seamer kind of pitch. The plate was so wide back then!
I remember my younger brother cracking up hysterically when he heard an Expos announcer say Grudzielanek, Pujols and Stankiewicz out loud, all in the same sentence. It's probably not actually that funny but it sure was then.

I am a huge braves and glavine fan and I never remember him throwing a sinker. A very good 2 seam fastball though.

Lost the game. 2-1.
I have no words.
Dude Ernie Banks pulled that same [censored] with me last night. Couldn't come up with a simple ground ball late in the game. Thankfully I still pulled it off, but he was trying his best to throw the game.

reason #1,489 why I don't play online anymore.
and no, that's not "well that's baseball" BS -
That’s what happens when you spam high sinkers. No sympathy from me
-
Why do people complain about high sinkers and fastballs. Those are the 2 easiest pitches to hit for homers. Any high pitch for that matter. And if you want to make if fastball speed even better. I sit waiting on those high juicy pitches. My eyes light up.
-
Looks like maybe some bad lag and Ernie at SS is tough. No way he plays up to his stats in any game so far. The reason I say lag is maybe some of the calls and reactions from your players. Was it laggy at all during the rest of the game? Are ypu on next gen?

I love when someone spams any pitch in any spot. Let them keep throwing it. High sinkers aren't bad anyways. Most people want that. Throw me up and in alot... I'll take that all day

LoL no kidding right! I didn't realize how many people couldn't hit that pitch lol
-
I don’t understand what happened at first. Is it just a blown call, or did it not register his foot on the bag? Either way that’s terrible (not to mention the obvious inning ending double play to get a guy out that shouldn’t have been on in the first place...)
-
I have learned to hit those high pitches well this year.
-
On another note, your pinpoint pitching is impeccable. I wish I could do that.
-
Man i finished the live series an put my team on the field excited and all ive seen is finley droppin balls , trout droppin balls, soriano fixing to turn a dp an cant even pick up the ball, banks throwin the ball in the stands an thats been like 5 games
Id rather have somebody hit a hr with rob dibble in the bottom 9th than errors.
-
is that umpire at 1st Jim Joyce?
-
It sure sucks, but Banks at SS has 2 30-error+ and 2 20-error+ seasons in 9 st the position; career field % at SS of .969; not anything to write home about
Edit: obviously referring to the ball under the glove, not the BS call at first
