I pulled a trout in a regular pack and a salmon later that day in a habit pack, great day fishing, I think I had pulled 2 diamonds I 4 years of play before that.

Have you been to SW Part of the state fishing? Drive past Telluride exit, there is a secluded lake every trout i've caught from there has never been smaller than 2 1/2 lbs.
Orange meat not white like at chatfield or the inner city resevoirs. Elk, Deer, and occasional Black bear come down to water to drink in the evening so beutiful.

I haven't been fishing in 12 years, went ice fishing and pulled a 20" brownie. It was so fat with eggs i couldn't pull it through the hole and had to reach into the water to pull up. Hooked a lake trout that same trip, but it snapped the line.

Nice! This same lake 1 trip i caught my limit within a 2 hour window. All cutthroat easily 3lb the smallest. Fired up the pit grilled and drank beer 4 rest of day just taking in the beauty! 3/4oz Rapala firetiger.
