Buxton is absurdly, and unwarrantedly, OP

I dont know if the cards for these monthly reward events have their attributes based solely on the month but if it doesnt then Buxton is a joke. Dude is a career scrub. A career .240 hitter but in this game people mash everything with him. I am talking about ranked seasons only. I dont know how he performs in other modes. But no matter what I throw or where I throw it, this dude gets on base lol. A single is basically a triple. Then once he is on third, every pimple faced loser lays down a bunt. Even If i have him nailed at home, we get into a run down and i throw it to 3rd and my player is frozen in place all of a sudden. I can throw it but I cant move. This has happened like 5x to me now. Not just vs Buxton but other plays as well.

This POTM is based on April. Buxton has played excellent in April.

The program is quite literally April monthly awards and they reference his April stats on the card. His attributes are reflective of how he performed in April of 2021.

I faced him 3 times? Maybe 2 only one guy actually did anything with him sliders down and away and nothing in the zone and you either walk him or strike him out I’ve been playing 650-780 in ranked, also pinpoint pitching is also very OP if you’re not trying it then I would check into it.

Been using meter. I tried pinpoint a few weeks ago and I liked it. Just havent tried it in a game vs a real person yet. Ill try it next game.

Weird it's almost like the card says "April" on it, along with his excellent stats from said month.

Ah the age old "someone disagrees with me so I must call them uneducated" garbage. Either way I'll see you in a few months after you make this post about every last future stars card. Buxton had an insane month and this card reflects that. "Dude is a career scrub" Guy was always a top talent derailed by injuries. He's finally healthy

That’s a dangerous game though too walking Buxton is basically giving up a double or triple bc he will steal himself around the bases lol

Not something id worry about if i can get 3 outs which 85% of the time i do, but the other 15% of the time is why i am 42-28, if you're scared to lose youll never have any fun lol

“Career scrub” lol. Dude was the number 1 pick and ate minor league pitching alive. Just dealt with some injuries before now playing at the level people expected him too
