I'm SURE they have metadata over all the years they have been in business, that indicates 7am EST is the optimal time for the type of maintenance they are doing this morning.
What type of maintenance is this morning? Server refresh and cache dumping.

I was kind of hoping that since I didn't see the banner on the forum today I would actually be able to use the market. I guess not. Are they not posting about it here anymore? I don't typically use Twitter.

Your trying to play during the lowest online traffic time... of course that's when they do maintenance. This is a good time to do it... most normal people are heading to work or school... not waking up to play videogames.

I haven't even logged in to the online marketplace this year.
I'm aware there are issues, and historically, I've sent in the bug reports usually 2-3 weeks after launch for the items that I believe cause the issues.
Now that servers are "stable" maybe I'll poke around the online marketplace for a week and see what's up.

I’m not understanding all this complaining about maintenance time. They obviously have data showing the lowest possible traffic on the servers. It’s just common sense. Would a restaurant close for cleaning around supper time??

It would be great if the "maintenance" could be less often but that would be server improvement and not maintaining.
On fairness well that is life in general, I mean half the people have to be responsible for their lives and the lives of the half that is irresponsible. Welcome to life . -

I know that dude. Think about the big picture. People that play late at night, live on both coasts. If I live in NYC, or Newport Beach Cali, I would potentially be playing at 1am local time.
You are the one that wants a 5am EST maintenance.
Also, check what you typed. 5 am EST would never be 1pm PST, even in Avengers Endgame or Tenet...
