Yes, he is free IF you lock in the cards. But to lock them in, you're locking in about 120K in stubs (that's if you sell all the TN cards.)
There are a few 42 Series players that can fill in at CF for less. Even if I but the Legends or pay to play Showdowns. (technically Showdown could be free as you get your stubs back if you win at least the first three to four moments)
Plus, I'm not playing online this year, other than maybe a few Events, so I'll probably won't use Buxton that much to warrant 120K.
And I could get Acuna for around that. With some decent Is days, he could be better than Buxton.

I used his card last year so I got use to his swing. I’ve been using his LS card and he’s saved my [censored] a few times at the plate and in the field. I got his POTM card tonight, looking forward to using him online tomorrow with that ohtani card batting after him

You gonna miss out on the final player of the month lock in reward for collecting them all . who knows who it might be that is a decent amount of stubs though so I wouldn’t blame u.
I locked in all those stubs last year and barely got Trout. I think I used him 3-4 times because I had other outfielders.
I get you I’m personally just scared it will be somebody I really wanna get/use . I am ok not getting buxton alone card isn’t make it or break it for my squad since I’m going for chipper .

This really is a tough debate, take the coins or get a beastly card in Buxton? However, I think I'm also selling my TN cards. It puts me that much closer to Soriano, who is end game. I already have Trout and Acuna will be a solid fill in until I get Finely. Or parallel Acuna and he looks like a better Buxton minus a couple speed.

The game has been out for 3 weeks and we are already talking about how good the card will be in July/August. Just enjoy the card.

I just sold all my reward cards. Rather finish up my LS collection, and that sure helped. Buxton is nasty, but who isn't at All-Star. His card wont play at 800-900. At least I don't care for it.

No it doesn't... Only contact matters.. Vision is only for outter pci which allows for crappy foul balls. Contact is the innner pci...

Thoughts on just paralleling Kenny Lofton and using him in CF and selling Bux if you get him? Better contact, vision, less power but same speed and defense, plus you get to keep the crazy amount of stubs Buxton is going for.
