MLB the Show 21 - Attributes

Hi guys, I'm a little confused this year with the attributes in the Show 21. When I look at my players playing card, his attributes at the top are what's capped off? Cause for example my speed says 53 on my players card, but when I do training it says his speed is 38. I'm noticing that with all my attributes, they're different from what my players card says.

The archetype and perks are added into player card numbers. Eventually when the fix equipment I would expect that to also add into player card numbers. The max base attribute you can have is 50 without any of the above added in.
