Ohtani

Ohtani has been one of my best bats and I can’t even start him everyday! You think SDS is gonna make him a two way player in DD? Or eventually sooner than later give him a separate positional player card?

Literally has LF/CF/RF as secondary positions. I haven't tried setting him into my lineup outside of a SP so I guess its possible its not working as intended.
Keep in mind if he is in your rotation, you will not be able to put him into your lineup from the lineup management screen. You can try swapping him in pre-game but it might just be easier to manually remove him from rotation and add him to the OF after games he pitches (no idea if his stamina recovers playing the field).

It would be nice to be able to use him to pinch hit or pinch run. Not sure why they nixed this, because it's not an exploit.

Where do you see that? I just took him out of my rotation and he’s not on my bench to substitute into OF

Im not logged in so I cant try it myself. I'm going off general assumptions ( its possible its not working right or that they screwed up and didnt code it correctly). But his card on the market listing has secondary OF positions.

I think you can, when you go to sub a player he shows on the bench as an OF.
Dude can pitch, hit, defend in all 3 OF spots AND swipe a bag if need be. He is a swiss army knife

Update: works offline vs CPU but not in RS. Doesn’t appear on my bench in RS
