Playing on XBO but soon may get PS5 - progress carried over?

So I'm waiting on next gen and I think I may have a good chance to get a PS5 this week.

I've been playing on xbox one and I have all my playstation and xbox accounts linked to this site.

So if I get it on PS5, will my progress be linked up from my xbox account and I won't need to restart on PS5?

I’m hearing this is possible. I want to do it as I have my team in ps4 and want to switch to Xbox and already have an Xbox s series but 1.) I can’t figure out how to do it and 2.) I’m scared it will mess up and take my team.

So if you figure out how to do it please do share.
