top guys cant lose?

beat a top rated player for this season. hit pretty for once and now my PS messenger is getting hit with insults. ramone helped me...... etc. can't you just take your loss like a man. definetly didnt cheese this guy into a loss. brutal to see this honestly.

Yikes. That’s a bad look. If it were me, I’d bust them out. I played a top player the other day who was of course streaming it. It was a pretty close game until the 7th or so when he leaped ahead. The entire time it was close though, I was getting random messages from his viewers saying similar stuff. And he was the one who chose Shippett, not me.

You're right. The top players are sore losers. They will blame the game when they lose. I remember watching pitching rebels stream couple years ago and he was blaming the game when he was losing. It's always been like this. This is why I don't care who the top players are. Means nothing. I have more respect for the average player who plays straight up and doesn't quit when losing.
And the followers who send messages to you, they're even bigger losers.

same time I've played against top guys on this forum and win or lose mostly I lose lol you get a GG message. not all top players are sore losers just saying take your loss and move on. it's a game

Is it the last game on your game list? The guy starting with F.... ?
Nothing too suspicious in the log itself. You struck out 4 more times but that alone isn't enough to assess the game. Seems like he had a lot of fly outs, which could have been hard hit balls but may not have been as well. Log doesnt show many lineouts, but idk. Perhaps he was just in a bad mood when he was playing...

Rebel has definitely changed from a couple years ago. I think he’s just accepted that this is how the game is going to go.
I have respect for people who don’t quit while losing...

exactly. sometimes I'll get a helping error or itll be against me. late ok hits happen all the time. it's the way the game happens in real life sometimes too. some days I have a nice morning dump and get locked in lol. just no need to send BS messages.

I just meant rebel doesn’t complain as much anymore because a lot of people have just accepted that the game is never going to be great, sometimes you just catch guys on a bad day and they send you a message, it’s just what it is, top players are human like the rest of us and get frustrated.

Sometimes the gripe is valid, sometimes you're just playing in the wrong mindset.

I think a lot of these kids can't understand that it is just a game. I beat a streamer/player in a tournament game and he was messaging some nasty stuff. I just kind of laughed, didn't even entertain him with a reply. I am sure not all of the top players are nasty, but the ones that are give them all a bad rep.

I don't consider myself a top player but I loose almost all the time to the 34W and 155L players. When I win is because they quit after I score a run or two lol. Haven't figured out why.

Are you in anyway surprised. You hear all of the self proclaimed “elite” complain about how their input should matter more and how they should win more because non-Elites beat them. They are whiny and entitled. Good for you for sticking it to them

More than "elite" players want their input to matter more, I'm definitely not elite and I want my input to matter more, as do a lot of average players

If you ask anyone if they want their input to "matter", it's an obvious yes. The problem is, people can't agree on how they want that brought about.
Some higher-level players want it to come about through making the lower difficulties faster and harder, not realizing that it alienates some of the base and that you can't base most of the game based on the elite atlent. -

Most suggestions I've heard so far emphasize that divisions shouldn't be separated by pitch speeds but PCI sizes. However, for fastballs to matter they have to be difficult to hit... Ideally we'd only have one pitch speed, but realistically we need at least two (the divider being somewhere around 500).

As far as I'm concerned, I dont care if Notorious or Rebel bat .900 in wildcard on their way to WS. They'll be in that division for a few games and then they move on.
It might actually help that the seasonal drop would be at max 1 division (if at all). So after the first season the elite guys would never play on all star difficulty for the rest of the year. This would also mean that SDS wouldn't have to resort to RNG in the lower divisions to prevent unrealistically good batting lines. Instead people would just sort themselves into divisions that reflect their actual skill.
